The Local Councils Association will continue to implement its beliefs, and it will continue to provide opportunities for you, as a member of a Local Council, to expand your knowledge through various training sections.
This time, a basic course on ‘book keeping’ was launched – which is certainly useful both for clerical workers, Mayors and Councillors, but above all also for Executive Secretaries.
This specialized training covered:
• Introduction to the accounting world
• Financial accounting
• Financial ratios
• Financial reporting and interpretation
• Cost and management accounting
• Working capital
• Local Councils’ regulations
Every participant who successfully completes this Course, which was distributed over three days, was given a certificate of attendance issued by the institute that provided this training.
